You can import your own sounds in various formats, including MP3, WAV, AIF, FLAC, and M4A. Recording can be done using the built-in microphone, line-in input, or external devices. You also have the ability to edit and tweak sounds using high-quality effects and ADSR envelopes.

Portable Music Production Studio offers extensive connectivity options such as Ableton Link integration, support for Inter-App Audio and Audio Unit v3 Plugin, Audiobus and AudioCopy compatibility. You can transfer files using iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Additionally, it supports external keyboards and MIDI-over-LAN via CoreMIDI.

The software includes a 16-track sequencer with up to 16 patterns per part. It offers multiple performance modes such as pad, keyboard, and pattern. You can also expect high-quality pitch and time stretching, as well as the ability to play in numerous scales in Pitch mode. The Step Editor mode allows for precise note and CC editing. Choke groups and One-Shot sample modes are available for added versatility.

Portable Music Production Studio has MIDI Learn functionality that allows you to bind parameters to MIDI CC for seamless control. You can perform and record arrangements in real-time, providing a dynamic and expressive workflow.
